VS2005 designer

after installing VS 2005 (3 times), and starting a device project I get an
error when
I try to open the form in design mode... (Windows form and Device Project
form)

"There is no editor available for '....\form1.cs'. Make sure the application
for the file type (.cs) is installed."

Uninstall / reinstall and repair has not worked. Is there some setting to
fix this?
