How to set a globalized value like Form1.Text in resources (VS2005 C#)

Hello,

In VS 2005 help, they told to use some code like
this.Text = (string)resources.GetObject("Form1.Text");

to set the title for a Form, but there is nothing in my project's resource
file corresponding to Form1.Text and even I can't add it in resource editor.

How could I automatically generate them ?

Hi CS,

Only when a form is localized, the values of the form's properties will be
stored in the form's resx file. To do this, set the form's Localizable
property to True.

After you set the form's Localizable property to True and open the resx
file of the form, which is under the form node in the Solution Explorer,
you should see the value of the form's Text property is stored in the resx
file with the name '$this.Text'.

To get the value of the form's Text in resources, make use of
ResourceManager.GetString method. The following is a sample.

private void button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
ResourceManager rm = new ResourceManager(typeof(Form1));
string formtext = rm.GetString("$this.Text");

}
