I do not have a configuration selector on my vs screen

Is this due to the fact that I selcted VB as language when I
installed vs???

How do I bring up the configuration selector I cannot
see it on the menus anywhere?

OK then... to put it back, right click on the toolbar area and select
Customize...
On the Commands tab, select Build, and drag "Solution Configurations"
onto the toolbar.

Alternatively; Tools -> Import and Export Settings... -> Reset all
Settings

Any help?

thanks marc, thought you had abandoned me

I tried the customize method but for some reason the list was disabled

So I reset the settings to C# and all is well.

thanks mate :-)

Glad it worked

nah - just despite all evidence to the contrary, I do occasionally put
the computer down ;-p

It also doesn't help that google-groups no longer flags follow-ups on
topics you have been involved in... a real shame ;-(
