VS 2002 Bug?

Every now and then, when I'm working with WinForms, VS seems to "lose"
somehow the event handlers (they exist, but the += that ties them are gone,
so they are not activated)
This has happened to me for more than once.
Anyone familiar with this?
 
I have had the same experience with ASP.NET codebehind pages. Not to dash
your hopes but I was hoping VS2003 would fix this... no luck. This still
occurs. My question is does anyone know why this happens and better yet is
MS working to fix it?
