Hi There ,
i have vpn server installed on a win2000
server which is a a test server on my windows nt 4.0
domain .Sever has a one network card which is config as
ip 201.123.222.456
gateway 192.168.0.1
subnet 255.255.255.0
dns 202.122.251.255
my isp provider have given me a router ip address
192.168.0.1 which is also my dhcp server ......
i am able to connet to the vpn sever and access its
resources with out any problem but if i try to access or
ping any other machine on my nt domain i am not able to
ping it i try to access the shared folder on one of my
machine in my lan network it always come up with error "
\\237\d is not accessible .you might not have permission
to use the network resource . contact the administrator of
this server to find out if you have access permission
the network path was not found ". i am using a
administrator id to acess the vpn sever through the client
I am have the tcp/ip and netbeui configured on the vpnsever
I have a router which is a dhcp server .....the isp
provider has given us some fixed ipaddress one of which
is 202.123.156.21(vpn server) ......my local area subnet
is 255.255.255.0
and ip address starting with 192.168.0.1 to 198.168.0.256
there are some reservation for ip adress from
192.168.0.240 to .250 ....... which are all confiqured on
the router .............
now i can cannot to the vpn server but cannot access the
local area network ..........
I try to get the ipconfig on the client machine it gave
me
ip addess 192.168.0.24
subnet mark 255.255.255.255 ....(this may be the problem )
default gateway 192.168.0.24
dns 202.122.251.255
Route print on the vpn sever is as follows
