VPN data transfer problem

We are currently suffering a very strange problem with our
VPN system.

Within the first 10-15 secs of VPN login the client is
able to ping/resolve internal network resources. After 15
secs the data transfer is cut but the client remains
connected.

I have run out of idea and places to look, can anyone
help??

Check if the connection is lost in between during the data transfer. You can
initiate a ping for 20 secs, and check if the connection is getting lost in
between.
