VPN connection from DOS command line

I am trying to figure out how to establish a VPN connection from the DOS
prompt, so that I can configure all mapped drives with a batch file upon
logging onto my computer.

Any suggestions?

I know, to map a drive from DOS command line, you use: net use Z: \\...\...
What command is used for a vpn connection?
I tried ipconfig, but it said the adapter was not enabled for DHCP.
