VPN and same subnets . . .

I have a problem connecting to one of our clients via VPN
in windows 2K (both systems are 2K).

We have setup the connection and can connect to the clients
network, however both of our networks are on the same
subnet 192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0 ! ! ! So now our vpn
client system has two routes for the subnet and it defaults
to sending all data down the vpn route. When we are
connected we need to be able to see both networks from the
client system inorder to do maintenace on our clients network.

So does anyone have a solution to this problem, is it
possible to us NAT or a route command to resolve this issue??

You need to change one of the networks to use something other than
192.168.0.0.... or if all you need is access to the 2k server console, use
TS for that (install it in admin mode on the server/s, and open up TCP port
3389 inbound in their firewall/router)

One of the networks must be re-addressed. Two networks with the same
addresses will not communicate no matter how many other subnets might be
between them.
