Voting count

I am currently using Outlook 2003. I have an emailing that is using voting
buttons. I am soliciting hundreds of responses. I have a rule set up to move
the responses to a sub directory. The voting does not count unless each
message is opened in the new directory. Even if I set the rule to mark as
unread after the move the vote does not count. Is there a way to automate
this to move the items and count them properly? Or maybe count it first and
then move it?
TIA
George

The way the data is taken from each email is by opening them. You can't
just mark as read. Outlook needs to open each one to suck the data (the
vote) out.

Or if Outlook is set to process responses automatically, leave it in the
Inbox so Outlook has an opportunity to do that during idle time.
