voting buttons

trying to insert voting buttons into an outlook template
I can not even get it to work in a regular email.
after I select the voting button in options, I do not understand how to
insert them.

VOting buttons only work when the recipient's address is marked for
rich-text. DOuble-click the underlined address to check.
