Volume slider on AIW 8500

I just reimaged my drive and everything works great except that the volume
slider on the MMC TV does not seem to work. The sound is fine and I know
its plugged into the "line in" jack on the sound card. Every application and
game work perfectly except the volume control on the ATI TV application. In
the Volume Control menu, the line in controls the tv sound just like it
should. Anybody have an idea why?

SB Audigy 2 card
300 GB ATA133 drive
ATI AIW 8500 128 meg

Yes, that is a setting in the setup menu that links the TV volume
control to ONE channel of your sound card, and you have to select which
one. Open the TV, right click, setup, select the display tab, and run
the initialization wizard. PAY ATTENTION, selection of the audio input
setting will be on one of the screens.

[Note, if you have a VERY old version of MMC, at one time there was a
bug and this function did not work. But that goes back to about 2001 or
2002.]

Thanks I got to finally give me the option of choosing the "line in" and it
works fine. Thanks again...
