Volume Problems

I have a keyboard with audio controls on it. Everything works except the
volume up/down and mute. When I press them it will change the volume
appearance on sndvol for speakers,windows, and whatever application I have
open, but it doesn't affect the actual volume. If I manually drag the
speaker, or windows volume up and down or hit mute it doesn't change
anything. If I manually change the windows media player volume it works
fine. Any ideas?

Check with the keyboard manufacturer and see what they have to say about
Vista compatibility.
