My Volume Control Icon is missing from the task bar and I cant get it to stay
after I reboot. When I boot up I can go into the control pannel and volume
control, the little box is checked, if I uncheck it hit apply and then
re-check it and hit apply again it will pop up but will be gone the next time
I reboot.

What did I do to make this happen? I don't have a clue. I just swiched
from a cable modem to DSL and when I did I noticed a long (30 sec.) delay
(hang) when I boot up. I'm sure it has something to do with the network
drivers for windows. I have not run boot vis yet to make sure thats what it
is. I dont know how this coould effect my volume icon though. Any ideas
whould be great! Thanks!
