I need a VOIP app that can make conference calls and record them. Does
anyone know of one? I've done the google thing.

Cheers

I need a VOIP app that can make conference calls and record them.

You'll need the ability to make conference calls in your VOIP setup -
that's "server-side", not something you can fake with software.

Recording calls? Do you do your VOIP on the computer, or with a
phone-line instrument connected to a modem? If the latter, any
telephone recorder will work, including the ones that run on a
computer (through a voice/data modem or a phone connection card).

I do it with the computer. I've been using Skype to make long distance
calls. It works great. Then I got to thinking - (that so dangerous), I'm
organizing a family reunion and I need to set up some committees. It
would be great if we could have the meetings via conference call on a
VOIP program and then if I could record it I wouldn't have to make notes.

Use skype and use Freecorder to record the conversation. There is an
offical plugin called pamela for skype that has a recording feature but
the freeware version only records 10mins so i think Freecorder is your
best bet. You can find it at

I tryed freecorder. It is ad supported and only allows 2 minutes of
recording with Skype. If I want to record longer I have to buy an
upgrade which would cost me about $23.00 CAD.

Thanks
