VoIP auto dial without a 56k modem.

Thank you for the help with WGA, no longer worrying me.
No a curly one, or so I have been told.
Would like to use VoIP for my small business, signed up, and could dial
out with perfect reception using my normal phone. But I need to use the
auto features with Outlook, i.e. press the little phone icon and go
through that system.
Have been told this is not possible, as the normal phone needs the 56k
modem to dial out.
Surely in this techno age, this problem has been addressed. The
providers of affordable VoIP all throw their hands up and say Sorry no
do.
I hope I have made myself understood, but some help would be
appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
PetaK...

IIRC, Voip requires broadband to work properly. 56k isn't going to do
it.
