Voice recording.

Hi can someone please point me in the right direction on the web to find
freeware for voice recording. I'm not looking for anything great, just a
means to record my voice and put the recording onto a CD, it needs to be for
around a an hour or so duration. It's for a play. Many thanks. Ted

is it possible to edit the voice recording software that is built into xp to
record longer without it stopping every so often?

Yes, by continually recording and reloading and other messing about but it
is far simpler and much better quality to use Audacity because you can edit
the result very easily.
