VML issue

On occasion when I import a picture into F/P 2000 I get a message as follows:

"This picture was automatically generated from the Vector Markup Language
data stored elsewhere in the page. Changes to this picture may be lost if the
page is opened again using the application that originally generated the
page. Also changes may not be visible in browsers that support VML"

On a previous web which I designed the pictures wre not visible when the web
went live and I am now getting the same message on a much bigger web which is
currently in the design stage. Clearly I do not want the same problem when
this site goes live. The pictures are usually sent as part of a word
documnet which I have cut and pasted into F/P.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Gareth

Copy and paste them into a image/graphic application and save as GIF or JPG image, then import and
use in your site, because only IE users under Windows can see VML graphics.

Don't use VML (Vector Markup Language) images/autoshapes/textboxes/wordart...as they will only be visible in IE browsers.

Use jpg's and gif's...and if you're brave png's (pngs not as universal as they are supposed to be).
