Slideshow too big

I've added a slide show to my web page and when looking at it in the design
view it looks fine with one large picture and a selection of about 5 out of
the 15 photos above with arrows either side which I assume will navigate the
pictures.

When I view it in the browser, all 15 of the pics are visible stretching the
site to a stupid degree. Is there anyway of keeping it the size it is on the
design view?

Sounds like you are using FireFox to preview - good idea, but use IE as
well.

The slideshow gallery only works in Internet Explorer. To keep it within
limits in other browsers you will have to find a different gallery. jAlbum
( http://jalbum.net ) is often suggested as a good alternative, but there
are others.

I don't have Firefox installed on my machine, so unless Frontpage is
emulating it I'm assuming I'm using IE.

I'll have a look at using the jalbum thing - is this easy to install?

FrontPage uses Internet Explorer, so without seeing the page I cannot say
why it does not work as expected in IE - but what you see now is what you
will get in FireFox, Safari and other non-IE browsers.

I have never used album, but most reports I have seen say it is easy to
use. It does require a Java Virtual Machine (JAM) installed on *your* pc,
but fortunately does not require your viewers to have James installed.

Cheers for the help.
