I am attempting to enter a fairly simple vlookup, comparing columns on two
separate worksheets, but I'm encountering an error entering the formula.
When I reach the part of the formula when you should enter the range_lookup,
I want to enter False. However, as soon as I enter the first letter, F, it
brings up a dialog box and wants me to select a cell for a range. Whether I
say Ok or Cancel, it tells me Microsoft Excel has encountered an error and
needs to close. Each time I try the vlookup, this happens. It's not a
complex vlookup by any means: I'm only comparing a single column on two
separate workbooks, and I've used it many times.
I had this problem several months ago and it has not recurred until now. I
wondered if this was a known issue with Excel 2003?
