Visual Studio incompatibilities with EFS Encryption?

Hi Everyone -

My organization is implementing EFS for our "data" folders such as "My
Documents" and the Desktop folder... basically anywhere the user would
potentially save a file to.

Someone had mentioned to me that Visual Studio may have an
incompatibility issue (or issues?) with Microsoft's Windows XP EFS
Encryption. They didn't have any other details. Not sure if it would
be a problem with the project files, or... ?

Do you know of any issues concerning any version of Visual Studio and
EFS Encryption?

Much appreciated.

You mentioned project files. Did you mean that these are
stored under some source control? If so then EFS, which
is per-account encryption (for the most part) would be
inappropriate.

We do use SourceSafe, but can project files not be saved locally?

Excuse my VS ignorance.

Sure the project may be locally saved.
I was just trying to discover why someone would
feel use of EFS would be problematic.
