visual notification -- add-in?

Outlook 2003 in shipping department, loud environment. The little
envelope and 'ding' notifications are not sufficient in alerting the
employees they have new email. Is there an add-in for Outlook that
will give a full screen notification that a new message has arrived?
Something really loud/obnoxious? Thanks.

I have it set such that my unread messages show up in red. That way I can
look at my screen from afar and see if any new ones have come in.

Maybe there is a way to have the email automatically open when it
comes in? this way at least a new window would pop up -- is this
possible?

You can change the sound to play any wav file Google for new mail wav file
to change the sound for the mail go to "Control Panel' sound and audio
devices "Sound "
then scroll down to New Mail Notification click on it then browse to the new
wav file

I'm afraid it is just too noisy to mess around with sound
notification. If anyone else has ideas on a visual solution that would
be great! thanks

set up a rule to alert you - and a big gray box will stay on the screen
until dismissed. It can be configured for specific messages or apply it to
all messages. Tools, Rules & Alerts. Choose Create a new blank rule - no
conditions if you want it to apply to all messages - and the next to last
action - display a specific message.
