Visual Disturbances

My computer has rectangular spot patterns scattered across
the screen, I've rebooted, and reinstalled graphics
drivers. I would have reloded a backup but I didn't
create one. Is there anything that could possibly help
this?

What monitor type is it and how old is it?

Are you sure you are not driving the refresh rate too high for the monitor?

Can you remember what you installed/changed that may have cuased this
problem to start?

The monitor is an hp pavilion mx75, under a year old. The
problem only started a day or so ago after a couple of
hours playing neverwinter nights.

For monitor/video problems, you want to troubleshoot by either swapping
out the video card or attaching the computer to a different,
known-good, monitor.
