I'm getting the following error message when I go to Explorer and it shows
the browser down and then I click again and I'm able to go back to the
internet. When I'm on the internet the sites seem to download very slow and
I'm using a cable modem internet connection.

Error Message reads:
Visual C+++ Runtime Library Error
Program C:\Program Files\Internet Explore\iexplore.exe
This application has requested the runtime to terminate in an unusual way.

I'm not sure how to fix it. Can anyone help, please?

That's the worse kind of error because that means the person at Microsoft
who wrote that code never intapicipated that somehow that error would be
created. You can check with adware and run a clean defrag and see if that
helps. Any windows updates may help as well.

I'm curious. What is a "clean defrag"?
