Hello:

Anytime I open excel or word I get the following error message.:compile
error in hidden module: AutoExecNew I can OK out of it and everything seems
to work OK. I have Windows 2000 The help menu states "-- A protected module
can't be displayed. This error has the following cause and solution:
There is a compilation error in the code of the specified module, but it
can't be displayed because the project is protected.
Unprotect the project, and then run the code again to view the error".

I am not working on a project and there's nothing to unprotect when I try.

Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Ray

thank you for the link. I followed MS instruction to move files and it worked
for MS Word but not for Excel. Method 1 and 3 did not work also. The NAV site
passed it on to Adobe and that didn't work. Not sure where to go from here.
