Error at excel 2003 startup: Visual Basis error moduleVBRun97????

After installing Office22003 on a new machine with WinXP plus SP2, upon
starting and closing Excel I get a message "Microsoft visual basic: Compiler
error in hidden module TBRun97" According to questionmark explanation of
MIcrosoft Wordt Help(!!), it is impossible to show the protected module in
which a compiling error has occurred. I cannot unprotect the project (as help
suggests) because there is no project I'm working on, I'm just trying to open
a spreadsheet.

Help and suggestions are appreciated!

Hey, I don't kmow if it was Garfield or Odie who invented the trick but it did work. Thanks to both, a pizza for Garfield and an extra Thwump for Odie!
