Visual Basic and Network Connection

I copied a module that somebody had earlier written for me
from one database to another; while I was trying to use a
macro refering to a function in the module, a window pops
up to warm me that

"Error accessing File. Network connection may have been
lost".

I don't know why it is saying this especially since the
Access database is on my C;| drive. And my network
connection is working properly.
