I am trying to set up my email through the email program that comes with
vista. Why doesn't it support MSN email (http) That is kind of strange that
it doesn't support your MSN email

It does not support HTTP mail. Try Windows Live Mail beta:

I am having the same problem with vista. I can not get microsoft outlook to
work or windows mail. Help me if you can.

If you are having the same problem why not follow the same advice?

by providing some background.

Cut and paste any error messages and codes.
Who is your ISP and which Antivirus are you using.?

You will have to provide more details. Who is your mail provider,
MSN, Hotmail, Yahoo, your ISP?
