Same happened with me, when I tried it a few months ago.

I tried that hacked .dll, to get more than one concurrent users signed in
while using Remote Desktop, so that I could log in to my HTPC or desktop,
while there is somebody else using the computer, or while I watched TV on
Media Centre.

It just resulted in a BSOD anytime I tried using Remote Desktop. It's a
shame, as Windows Server 2003 allows two signed-in users in administration
mode, while it is so much more useful for me in Vista.

I think XP allowed it as well, when there was a user using a Smart Display
(Mira).

My guess is that the hacked .dll is an older version that has been replaced
by Windows Update, and it is no longer compatible with parts of the OS that
it is used by.

I forgot to mention that I was using the 32-bit version of the file, with
Vista Ultimate.
