vista wont start up

simply, the computer won't turn on. the screen works fine, but the computer
will not turn on what soever
 
Is your computer a laptop?
If it is a desktop, you can uninstall the power supply and install a new
one. However, some computers from manufacturers have a proprietary power
supply and is difficult for a do it yourself replacement.
