Vista Windows Explorer Tools->Options

Hello! I'm trying out Vista Business and am very disappointed.
Microsoft keeps changing things around! I am sick and tired of
Vista not keeping the window sizes to what it was set before.
The windows Explorer keeps maximizing covering the entire
desktop. I want to keep it in a smaller window but it always
starts up on an expanded size. How can I make Windows
Explorer memorize it's configured size?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks. But I always click on the "X" on the top right corner of the window
when I close the application. Where is the Tools->Options
for Windows Explorer in Vista to set preferences?

You may click the red X as often as you like, but it has always been the
case in Windows that the way to set the window size to a new default was to
close once with the File Menu. After that you go back to closing with the
Red X again.

I believe too, (although I could be wrong) that if you hold down the 'Shift'
key when closing (from the X, or the File > Exit menu) your window size and
position will be preserved upon restart.
