vista window email spell check

M

mazza b

Oh please can I have my old xp spell check? I find that: A) As I am typing emailsI cannot right click to get a few words to find correct spelling
b) I do not get any underlined or any indicatioin that there is an error in spelling nor a grammatical error as I previousley had in XP(I have tried to go into controls to fix this but not successfull). Sometimes there is maybe just one letter incorrect but no alternative spelling is given. Why is the dictionary so very limited. Also from time to time a misspelt word it not even picked up! I am not talking about Australian/American English differentials. Please how can I fix this- it is driving me nutso!

I would be gratefull for any suggestions to correct same. Thank you

Spell check features don't belong to an operating system (XP or Vista),
they belong to a specific program. Microsoft Outlook 2003 is one such
program, and it runs on both XP and Vista.

If you don't want to purchase Outlook, you can switch to the newer
Windows Live Mail email client, which has better spell check features
than Windows Mail. It underlines misspelled words with a red squiggly
line as you type, and will auto-correct some typos.

To upgrade to Windows Live Mail: http://download.live.com/wlmail
