Vista will not activate after upgrade

Using the same hard drive with vista installed on it and upgrading everything
else I was unable to activate windows after clean reinstall. How can I get my
product key to work with the same hard drive the key is registered to?

You should be able to call Microsoft (via the telephone activation) and they
should be able to get you the activation code with no problems.
