Which version of vista would I need, to run all full power?
As they say.

2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q6600
Is what I will be running in a few days... HO HO

It comes with vista premium 32bit, which
I've been told DOESN'T run all 4 processor
At the same time, or is that incorrect?

Thanks -
Richard

Windows XP is the one you really want..

vista sucks and you should avoid it at all cost!

All versions of XP and Vista can run at least ONE CPU with as many CORES as
you want

But by having Vista its like having half the CPU power available due to its
CRAPPY slowness..

for example Vista on a 4 core CPU is as fast as XP on a dual core...

or in otherwords XP is twice as fast on any hardware

I see all four cores on my Q6600 vista home premium working without problem.
Quite impressive

You've been told wrong. It won't run separate processors, but it will
run all the processors in a multi-core processor.

I have the intel quad core q6600 2.4ghz, running Vista Ultimate with 4 gigs
of ram, Nvidia 8800 GTS video, and a 750 watt p/s. Uses all four processors.
The beast is impressive.

Only thing I do not like about Vista is IE7 that crashes all the time.
