Hi is vista the same as vista2 but the 2 is a little higher than the a when i
seen this but i cannot type it that way here. I was not sure what that means.
There is a program i want to use but says compatible with vista2 but does not
have vista alone. Thanks

Are you sure it is not "XP SP2" that you want the program to be compatible
with?

Yes I am sure. It specifically what verizon tech support told me and when I
asked them what vista2 was i got no reply. Thanks for answering me. I
appreciate it.
Windows
? Windows 2000 (SP4)2, Windows XP SP22 (Home, Professional, Media Center1,
or Tablet PC Editions), or Windows Vista2
? Laptop/Notebook computer with 300 MHz or higher processor clock speed
recommended; 233 MHz minimum required (single or dual processor system);
Intel Pentium/Celeron family, or AMD K6/Athlon/Duron family, or compatible
processor recommended.

"Don't let the others comments put you off."

And what is that suppose to mean? I am correct in saying there is no such
thing as Vista2.

Rose, could you please do this:

1) Open Start Menu
2) Click on "Run..."
3) Enter this text: "winver" (without the quotes), then hit the Enter
key.
4) When the popup comes up, write down what version of Vista it
displays on it.
5) Post pack with the version of Vista the popup displayed...

Thanks, Rose...

Hi Rose,

The 2 is a superscript refering you to additional information about running
that program under Vista which is probably at the bottom of the page. As
others have mentioned, there is no such animal as Vista2.

There is no Vista2.
It is a figment of your imagination.

Vista 2 doesn't exist. maybe you are thinking of XP SP2?

Are your sure that isn't a superscript referring you to a footnote?

It means nothing. There is no such thing as Vista2.

have vista alone. Thanks

What program?

Actually there is, but it's spelled:

Vista Too

as in "I have Vista Too!"

<said with tongue firmly in cheek>
