Vista Upgrade disc...

P

Pancho

Hello,
A few months ago I ordered my Vista Upgrade disc that I should be
entitled to, as I purchased a new laptop towards the end of 2006. As of yet,
it has not been delivered, if I look on the website, it shows order received
but shipping date is just blank. The telephone helpline doesn't seem to
help. Is anybody else having trouble receiving their copy of the disc?
Thank You in advance for any replies..

Hi Pancho,

I'm assuming you are referring to the Moduslink upgrade site?

Did you receive confirmation of receipt of your proof of purchase? (assuming
you submitted it)
Has Vista been released in your country yet?

I registered mine on the 08 Jan 07 and it finally came last thursday.
Not the fastest service. Only took them 4 months and a bit.

Have you been asked for proof of purchase yet? Had to scan and send
them my receipt.

A friend of mine ordered his disk in Feb and it came 1 week before
mine. So much for first come first served.

Hi Pancho,

What happens when you call?
https://upgradeweb.moduslink.com/Vista/HP/(S(plqenn451qlpqs45o4oscxq5))/ContactModusLink.aspx

If in the America's, have you tried the email link?

Unfortunately, no one in this forum is going to be able to help you with
contacting and resolving the issue. If it has been several months, then your
order was either lost or (more likely) lost/misdirected once shipped. Unlike
the Moduslink support area is going to be able to help you resolve it (and
from what I've seen that's not exactly a great channel for assistance).
