Vista Updates

I have two Windows updates that Vista keeps saying are available. I tell
windows to download the updates and install. I have autoupdate on. The
downloads for both fail with the following error number, '800736CC' and
'80246005'. I have Vista Home Premium. Any suggestions?

Yes. Try using Google or another search engine to look up these error codes
and see if any of the solutions fix your issue. When I searched a bunch of
results came up. Hopefully someone in this forum will already know the answer.

Try turning off your av.
Is your copy legit?
go through your msconfig file and clean it.
go to add remove programs and remove anything not recognized.
if all else fails, defrag your hd (it's not likely that would be the
problem, but, I have seen it work.
disable any 3rd party internet program (ie, zone alarm, avg, spy doctor, spy
sweeper, ext.)
