Vista unable to detects HDD in raid 0

hello all.

i've just recently upgraded my chip and mobo and am trying to install vista
ultimate 64 on my 2 wd raptors in raid 0. i am able to set up the raid 0
using the mobo's embedded raid drivers. i also flashed the bios with the
most updated version. upon installing vista, i get to the point where i am
to select the drive for installation. my raid isn't showing up. i've tried
using the most recent raid drivers from my mobo as vista gives me the option
to look for updates on disk.

this is my computer set up:
amd 64 fx-62 windsor 2.8 am2 duel core
m2r32-mvp v.0804 mobo
4gb ddr2 800 corsair ram
wd raptor x2 in raid 0
ati x1800xt in crossfire (not that i can set them up atm)
sb x-fi xtreme music

thanks for any and all help!

There are many issues with RAID adapters. this NG has a few threads that
disgust the problem. Search on RAID, you should come up with something

If you have another box to use, download the Automated Installation Kit
(AIK) and use the System Image Manager to inject your RAID drivers.
During setup call the unattended.xml from a USB stick. This is actually a
very easy process and works great.
