Vista Ultimate Full Installation (going crazy here)

I run the Upgrade Advisor and it says my hardware passed. All I have plugged
in is video, hard drive, 1 rom, floppy, keyboard and mouse. After it says
Windows Vista is going to run for the first time, I get a blue screen but it
is gone so fast I can't read it. The computer restarts and I have the option
to go into Safe Mode, Start Normal etc. Doesn't matter which one I choose it
says Windows wasn't installed properly, run the installation from the cd/dvd
again. I also bought new 1GB RAM to eliminate the possibility of the problem
being my RAM. I have tried three different hard drives, Western Digital,
Maxtor, Fujitsu with more than adequate space. What more can I try to make
this work.

My System
ASUS P4P800 motherboard
3.0 GHz
1 GB Ram
Radeon X1600 video
Hard Drive
Floppy

Please help, a lot of money to just sit on shelf

Lets assume you are not using the RAID function of the board which leaves a
SATA HD???
Does your mobo have SATA drivers?? We're they loaded during the Vista
Install??
Do you have only one drive connected??
Look at page 2-27 of your mobo manual.
