Vista Transformation

I downloaded it, it is really cool.
See for yourself.

If you download it, don't change your login screen. It will mess up your
computer.

I recommend not using this, several people I know of have had systems fail
to boot (even in safe mode) after installing this.

The old instructions of how to do it via the repair console:

Boot the machine from the XP CD (assuming it's not just a restore image)
Launch the restore console
Type "R" at the invites setup
You have the console with prompt "the c:\WINDOWS >", type: "BATCH
BricoPackUninst.txt"
Type EXIT when the operation finished.

That page has several references to Beta 2.
Since Beta 2 is not out yet, either the author is misinformed or possibly
wants others to think it has Beta 2 features.

Either way, it is a good idea to stay away from something that is
misleading.

Interesting post "Beta 2 is not out yet,..." - since I received from
Microsoft "Beta 2" in December.

Check again.
The latest build 5270 is not Beta 2 even though it is marked Beta 2.

I am inclined to believe you are not a Beta tester since this information is
common in the Beta newsgroups.

That information is not so clear to MSDN subscribers and may not be through
other sources as well.

I wonder if Vista will think it is still in beta 1 year after being
officially out of beta testing like XP did (see below link)?

Then again, Microsoft makes the unsuspecting public feel like beta
testers even after the software is "officially past beta testing".
