Vista to XP Home access anomaly question

On a Windows XP Home computer, I have a folder called c:\DataShare\
that I have shared to my home network.

Inside this folder is a folder called \Databases\

I have a front-end access 2000 database called MyKarateSchool.mdb
containing code, forms, reports, etc... to tables linked from a file
called MyKarateSchool_Data.mdb in the same folder. I have used this
file for several months on both my XP Home computer and a Vista laptop
that I use when working in my studio.

Recently, on my XP Home computer, I made some changes to
MyKarateSchool.mdb. Prior to making changes, I always make a copy of
the databases for "just-in-case" purposes. After the changes to the
database had been made and successfully tested on the XP Home
computer, I can no longer access this particular file from the Vista
computer.

I can SEE the file and I can view properties, however, I now see the
message that I don't have proper permissions to do anything with this
file and absolutely nothing happens when I try to run it. No error
messages, just nothing.

From my Vista computer, I can still access / run the file called "Copy
of MyKarateSchool.mdb", but the changes that I need are not reflected
in this database.

Everything is being accessed from the same share from the XP Home
computer (C:\DataShare\Databases\ ).

Can anyone provide insight as to why I'm having issue with this one
database file?
