Vista to XP flash drive problem

I have a couple flash drives I was using on an XP computer. I transfered
some file on the flash drive to a Vista Home Premium computer. Now the XP
computer can't open the files on the flash drive. It still works on the
Vista one though.

What files?

Sounds like you had office files which are 2003 on the XP machine & 2007 on
the Vista one. You saved them in 2007 format & don't have the compatibility
pack on the XP machine to open them.
