I'm trying to use Vista Ultimate's 'full system backup' to backup to an
external disk attached to another Vista system. I can see the external disk
and contents just fine (shared out for full for everyone) but when I run the
'full' backup it doesn't give me a choice of any networked drives. I tried
mapping the drive and it doesn't see that either. How do I use Vista to backup
to a networked disk? Thanks!

You don't.
The full system backup can only be made to locally attached storage or to
DVD media.
The backup files option allows for backup to network locations
Use the Backup and Restore Center (in control panel) for the file backup
etc.

You can't. Use Acronis TrueImage 10. It's better.

Bummer. I thought I'd seen blurbs about it using network disks but I guess
that was just for files. Nothing in the help says it won't use networked
disks. Thanks for the reply!
