been reported to be about 4gb RAM.

I can buy a Mini Mac for less than a retail Vista Ultimate license and
that doesn't count the added hardware require to run the bloated POS.

I can install Ubuntu Linux for nothing.

Reported by who? That's not true. Vista which includes the x86 flavor can
not properly read 4GB so off the bat that comment is far fetched.
