Vista SP1 performance still AWFUL!

Just short of 12 hours. Dreadful...just dreadful!

When will it improve?

you can not improve something that is total crap.i got sp1 service pack,down
loaded and of course.it did not change the speed of things.but my on line
freeze ups went away..i tried to get toshiba,to give me win xp pro..but she
would never say if they would do it or not and then hung up on me..
