Hello,

I am using Vista Ultimate along with Creative labs Live! 5.1 Digital Player.
However, in my initial installation....Vista did not detect my hardware and
after relentless efforts, I forced it to use my old driver. But I can't use
many of its functions. I've looked into Creative Labs website but they don't
have a Vista driver for me.

Any advices?

You don't have many options, except to ask Creative when the Vista
compatible drivers will be available.

Hopefully they are working on them as my drivers expire on 1/12/2007

I am using a SoundBlaster Live! 5.1 card, got the driver update for Vista
from Windows Update.

Ahmed Salim spewed out this bit, and i'll scatter a few bits myself:

Funny, when did you install? I installed 20 days ago and there were no
drivers
for my sb live! value.

I remember running sb live drivers from the KX project, maybe they would
work
on vista? Anyone tried them?

Best Regards,
Maciej

I am using the KX project drivers with Vista. They work great.

I tried them during the beta but they crashed my system
