Vista setting Time back 13 hours at every 2

Since DST started ( was up working on the work computer) to the second, my
Vista Home premium has reset the system date time back 13 hours at every
occurance of 2. More than a bit irriating since this also messes up my
weather recording and reporting. Seems like a major flaw, but since MS wants
$$$ to even consider an answer to a system flaw....
And before the told ya so's start, Virus protection was and is up to date,
and always has been, have not had a none virus protected computer since the
early 90's (pre www, aka CIS days)

Have you tried System Restore? If not, try selecting a point shortly before
DST. You would lose any programs you have installed since then, but it does
not affect your data (although everything should be backed up, of course,
and I am assuming that you have scanned with a virus checker).

Since you may be the only user this happens to, how do you consider this a
system flaw? To me it sounds like a configuration issue specific to you. Not
sure if this is your work computer, but what do your support people say?
Without more details, there isn't much anyone can do.

Regardless of the fact that your system is up to date in terms of virus
protection, I would still peg this as being a virus. Perhaps your virus
protection is simply inadequate or you never bothered to actually scan
your hard disk for viruses believing that simply allowing the anti-virus
to run is a shield for this kind of stuff. Either way, your problem is
in no way a Microsoft problem and I'm tired of people blaming every
stupid thing that only THEY experience on Microsoft and their supposed
grinch-like greed.

I guess things must have been set properly for DST to have started on
the button but you might check your time zone now. Are you still
running in the correct GMT offset and in the correct N/S hemisphere ?
Was KB942763 installed successfully ?
