Vista RDP client, Win2k Terminal server

Hello, I'm trying to connect to a Windows 2000 TS using Vista Ultimate via
RDP. If I connect to a server on the local LAN, it works just fine, but if I
try to connect to a server on a different subnet, it fails altogether. I am
not able to map network drives on the remote subnet, either. I am able to
ping the remote server by name and IP address, and telnet to port 3389
appears to work. When I try to connect via remote desktop, the connection
simply hangs, eventually timing out. I have spent all morning looking for a
solution, and have tried various things with no effect. The most likely
solution was in the following screenshot:

However, that setting had no effect. I see lots of posts about people having
trouble connecting TO windows vista, but not many FROM windows vista. Can
anyone help?

Thanks
