Vista OS loader fails

Installed Vista on a separate primary HD. Vista does not start.
Windows Boot Manager reports:" File: \windows\system32\winload.exe,
Status:0x000000f, Info: The selected entry could not be loaded because the
application is missing or corrupt".
From the Vista DVD I applied the System Recovery Option/Startup Repair.
Diagnosis details:
Root cause found: Boot manager failed to find OS loader.
Repair action: File repair failed, error code 0x2
Repair action: BootCfg failed, error code 0x490

I'll be extremely grateful for any help!

You are not going to get substantial help here unless you fully describe
what your EXACT problem is, when it occurs etc.

Also tell us about the "everything" you have done so we do not waste time
duplicating those suggestions.
