Vista License

D

Drumgod

All,

I need to know information about licenses and Vista. I run a corporet
network that has no internet connection. We will soon be upgrading to Vista.
I need to determine my licensing needs before that happens..

This is what i want:
1 OEM key to use
Vista Ultimate / Business
An easy way to activate the vista boxes with NO internet connection (KMS
SERVER??)

How does a KMS server work? Does it need to be connected to the internet? If
not, im guessing you sneakernet over a file to a box that has internet and
activate it that way, or something like that.. How oftern do you have to
'active' your KMS server, isi it a one time deal?

So, with that said, what exactly do i need to purchase? Vista Enterprise?
Will that allow me to have say 500 licenses tied to a single OEM key?

Please help me out here... Vista has too many options!!
