Vista License Question (Dual Boot)

I run two partitions on my computer (one for doing work and one for play). I
would like to run Vista on both partitions. Can I use one copy or do I need 2?

Each installation of Vista requires it own unique license.
If you wish to run two (2) installations, then you'll need
to purchase two (2) Vista licenses.

Thats a good question. It should be per CPU, so it should be legal.
Activation may need to be done by phone, though. I could be totally
wrong, though, and would love to be proven wrong so I could know the
"official" answer.

I think you need 2 licenses only if they are running at the same time. You
could have it installed on 2 different partitions on the same machine using
the same key, as long as you only boot into one at a time. For sure that is
the way it worked with XP, but with all the confusion about Vista upgrades,
licenses etc. I wouldn't bet on anything until someone actually tries it.
